We are early on our journey and seeking an operations manager with a continuous improvement mindset to help us advance. This position will be responsible for our Industrial Sewing division operations as well as a select number of top continuous improvement initiatives from across our company.

Job Summary

We are seeking an Operations Manager with a strong background in continuous improvement to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing our industrial sewing operations, implementing process improvements, and driving efficiency across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Operational Management: Oversee operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning of all departments both day to day and annual planning
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve quality.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement best practices and innovative solutions.
  • Process Optimization: Develop and refine processes to streamline operations and eliminate waste.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and drive operational excellence.
  • Project Management: Manage and execute improvement projects from conception through ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
  • Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with relevant regulations, quality standards, and company policies.

Requirements

  • Preferred – Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, business administration or a related field.
  • Proven experience in operations management with a focus on continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using operations management software and tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Skills:

  • Leadership and Team Management: Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Continuous Improvement Methodologies: Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement frameworks.

  • Process Optimization: Expertise in streamlining processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Change Management: Ability to manage and drive change within the organization, ensuring smooth transitions and buy-in from stakeholders.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with operations management software and tools.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all aspects of operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $71,064.00 – $77,629.00 per year
